On February 8th the group sailed up the Yarra for awhile and reached Dights Falls. This was the furthest they sailed. There is a plaque to commemorate this act in a fairly inaccessible place.
We reached the spot by entering several back streets in Abbotsford. Trenerry Crescent winds around to a spot on the Yarra where you can park and get out to look at the transformed falls.
